Artinis Brite MKII

Dual brite

Overview

A wearable multi-channel fNIRS device for use in: brain oxygenation monitoring; sports science; functional studies; cerebral studies; and hyperscanning.  Non-invasive and wireless, great for studies in and out of the lab.

How it Works

The Artinis Brite MKII measures oxy-, deoxy- and total haemoglobin.

  •        Continuous wave near infrared spectroscopy using modified Lambert-Beer law
  •        10 emitting diodes, each with 2 wavelengths
  •        Standard nominal 760 and 850nm wavelengths
  •        Up to 27 channels, flexibility to select from a range of optode templates
  •        Optimized ambient light protection - use outdoors, or in lab, office, hospital - almost any environment
  •        Flexible interoptode distances of 10mm up to 55mm, shallow or deep, short or long channels are possible
  •        Available for children and adults (XS – XL), weighing approx. 300g
  •        Sample rates up to 150Hz
  •        100+ hours offline data storage
  •        9-axis orientation sensor

Options

These are the options available for this product:

Option Purpose
Portasync MKIIEvents can be marked in the NIRS data file by generation of two signal levels
Short Separation ChannelsMulipower gain control of the Brite allows to easily switch a channel from a standard distance (i.e. 30 mm) to a shorter one (i.e. 10 mm)
EEG and TES compatibilitycombine transcranial electrical stimulation (tES: tDCS, tACS, tRNS) & electroencephalography (EEG) with NIRS in one single headcap
Dual Britemeasurement of up to 54 channels on one participant
